On the way we stopped off at the town of Sigulda. There is an old castle named Turaida. It was a beautiful sight.
There is a myth about the castle and a young girl named Maija. There is a cat who lives there and is also named Maija.
There is an amazing sculpture garden on the grounds dedicated to Latvian folk songs.
Our driver was very informative about life in Soviet and free Latvia. Tallinn is a storybook looking town. This is our hotel.
Before dinner we took a walk--it is quite a place.
One thing is for sure, they don't mess around with their coffee.
We ended the day with a six course tasting menu at the hotel.
